Bill and Glenda 1958

Wife, mother, grandmother, dancer and life lover

Sadly left us on February 20th, 2016

Glenda was known to many as a survivor. Mainly because she was a lover of life despite all the challenges she was confronted with throughout her life. Even as she succumbed to the effects of Alzheimer’s, she told everyone that assisted her “thank you”.

Glenda loved to spend time with her daughters and especially her only grandchild. She didn’t care what the activity was as long as there was movement and good food and drink. She loved to travel especially in Europe and especially with friends. She always wanted to help others, even with tedious tasks, taking pleasure from the results of her hard work. This is possibly due to her heritage and expressed best by the Furgeson Clan crest, which has a bee on a thistle and motto Dulcius Ex Asperis or Sweeter After Difficulties – at least that is what we like to believe.
